This analysis examines employment outcomes for DC public high school graduates who enroll in college but do not complete a postsecondary degree — a group that included 35,515 individuals in DC under age 65 in 2024 based on data from the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center — tracking median annual wages through six years after expected high school graduation, compared to both postsecondary degree attainers and direct-to-career peers. Note that "some college, no degree" does not include students who are still in college.
